The integration of the financial industry and financial technology (Fintech) has become a key factor in global economic transformation, driving efficiency, transparency, and broader financial inclusion, especially in Yogyakarta City which is dominated by the MSME and tourism sectors. This study aims to analyze the role of payment digitization in realizing a sustainable and inclusive economy through the use of QRIS, digital wallets and mobile banking towards more inclusive and sustainable economic growth. This research uses a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach. The results show that the adoption of digital payment systems by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) has improved operational efficiency and expanded market reach. However, challenges are still found in the aspects of digital literacy, infrastructure limitations, and data security. Therefore, synergy between the government, digital financial industry, and the community is needed to improve digital financial literacy, strengthen technological infrastructure, and develop regulations that support a safe and inclusive digital payment ecosystem.
